Liivalauka is a beach on the Baltic Sea coastal strip on Hiiumaa. The nearest town is Kärdla (35 km to the southwest). Water quality has been excellent in recent monitoring years. The nearest weather station is Luguse, 17.3 km away. Bathing-water monitoring is carried out under the EU Bathing Water Directive (Health Board).
