The Valuoja Järv beach lies on the lakeshore in Viljandi County. It is a few minutes' walk from the town of Viljandi. In all 11 monitored seasons the water quality has been at least good. The nearest weather station, Viljandi, is in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Periodic water monitoring is carried out under the supervision of the Health Board (EU Bathing Water Directive).

According to the latest EEA monitoring, the bathing-water quality is excellent. Estonia's bathing water is monitored by the Health Board together with the European Environment Agency (EEA).
When is the best time to swim?
The swimming season usually lasts from early June to late August. The warmest month, July, averages 18.0°C, and the water is warmest in the second half of July.
How warm is the water in summer?

Is Valuoja Järv a safe place to swim?
