Beach
Roosta Rand, on the Baltic Sea coast in Läänemaa, is an official swimming beach. Haapsalu is the nearest larger settlement, 24 km to the north. Water quality has been excellent in recent monitoring years. The nearest measuring station is Dirhami (6.2 km away). Regular monitoring by the Health Board is carried out under the EU Bathing Water Directive.
