Lake Kavadi is a kettle lake over 10 metres deep, where the bottom layer stays at just 4°C in summer while the surface warms to 22°C. This sharp stratification makes it unique for cold-water diving.

The Kavadi Lake Trail is a quiet loop through the hilly pine forest of Põlva County. Lake Kavadi is a clear-water Ice-Age kettle lake and a popular swimming spot.
