Lake Endla is a nutrient-poor bog lake in the heart of the bog, its shores covered in layers of peat moss. The lake is so shallow and nutrient-poor that it holds no fish.

The Endla Lake Trail is a loop around Lake Endla at the edge of the raised bog. The trail follows a boardwalk over the peat surface, passing through bog forests and open bog expanse.
